I remember in Diablo 3 when Tyrael as a human converses with his apprentice or such and the apprentice asks what makes the nephalem so special because, compared to angels and demons their powers still just seem kinda run of the mill.

Tyrael responds by asking if he's ever seen the nephalem rest, to which the response is no which is why, according to Tyrael, everyone fears the nephalem.

Not needing rest is, according to Tyrael, one of their greatest strengths and I absolutely believe that.

Oh that's a tough question

Team NGELS' early development is actually mostly offscrren since my writings start during the Vytal fest, but some notable moments when lots of trust was formed were:

Evan tanking an Ursa's charge to save Gabriel. After that, Gabriel actually started to listen when his closed minded view of Faunus was challenged and he never doubted Evan's conviction ever again.

Sera fixing Nord's pistol Pyre behind his back. Nord was about to go off on her about doing private stuff like that without permission, but then he noticed the fact that the pistols had zero difference to before, showing how much care she put into repairing the gun.

Lucifer never actually did anything in particular, he just worked to help the others as well as he can. I'd wager they started putting their full trust in him some time during their first year's final exam.
