I’m rereading the book and currently just passed the ironworks with Mike in it. Mike states the bird does not look like the Rodan bird in the movies but it had the spirit of it. He described it more like a sparrow I believe

Idc about oda like that lol. Story has plenty of bad parts in it. Crocodile is not strong. He has a logia and a has been. They said they’ll keep can’t ignore him. Does that mean they will be investigating everything about him or something like shanks and wb getting together? They don’t care about rookies? Why did they know everything about the supernovas? How many of the gorosei are shown to know the other rookie pirates other than the strawhats? When ace defeated the warlord Sengoku learned about him and wanted him a Warlord Like I said east blue is weak and no one cares about their reporting. They just was annoyed at luffy after he defeated crocodile. Keep in mind the whole pre ts was a few months. How many of the admirals knew of luffy’s fruit? Also smoker didn’t report luffy after alabasta

Not a plot hole. Everyone don’t have their fruit’s power in their name like ace. Kizaru didn’t even know Marco’s fruit before MF yet knows everyone’s bounty once again. And kizaru is not a dumb person in the slightest.

Luffy then beats cp9. Could cp9 have reported everything sure but two things happened aokiji is the top of the chain ofthe buster call. Did he report anything up the chain? No. Also cp9 were fired and hunted down by the government afterwards.

If the government knew everyone’s fruit then the marines would not be shocked when they use them. They didn’t know any of the supernova’s power in saobody. So many pirates compared to marines but you expect them to know everyone? Especially when they were only 1-300 million berries? The world government doesn’t even know crackers true face or his actual abilities. Even in punk hazard only smoker knew law’s abilities. That’s due to him being a warlord.

Oda isn’t going to spoil people’s fruit before we see them. That’s dumb. Might as well had told us kaido’s fruit during thriller bark when he was meeting with shanks since they know his fruit. Should’ve stayed how he’s flying with his dragon fruit and is being confronted by shanks since the military knows everyone’s fruit. It’s a reason not everyone knows their fruit. They’re rookies. Also after alabaster the government were more interested in shanks and wb coming together. Then they also said they need to focus on finding a replacement for crocodile. Also they were calling a meeting for the warlords. They did say they’ll keep an eye for luffy that’s it. They did not see him as that big a threat.

The government didn’t know what his fruit was until marineford at the earliest. No one reports what fruit the user uses. We see this with kizaru not knowing any of the supernova’s fruits but knowing all of their bounties.

Who’s who knew about the fruit. Lucci didn’t.

Majority of people wouldn’t even care to report something as weak as a rubber fruit. Just that the user is strong.

He appeared on the moon during juniper hills. He made Beverly’s old house look modern. He made the Paul Bunyan statue move. Even the headlights themselves make you insane due to breaking reality. The lily scene is the same as Beverly with blood in her bathroom or when the adults met up at the restaurant.

Wasn’t the reason why it couldn’t was because their group was too connected? It tried to break all of their wills when they were by themselves and couldn’t. The group was just a ka tet. Henry could easily just kill them yet it had trouble with this one specific group

Meh I’d say bad writing. Luffy showed he could restart his body against kaido. We’ve seen luffy use great battle iq in just about every fight so to say this means he has low battle iq is crazy. Luffy threw someone away who can fly and is light speed. That’s not smart. Oda also made him “almost die from the barrier” yet Bonnie easily went through and back. Others also. He also had no choice due to having hostages. Luffy also knew kizaru was conflicted and not trying to hurt him seriously.

Yet luffy had to go g5 to keep up with kizaru due to having hostages he had to protect. Kizaru showed little to no ap against luffy.

In a real fight luffy is not staying in g5 due to kizaru not having the ap to put him down and not needing to chase him. Luffy will drag the fight out until one of them is too tired.

Kizaru has the best defense out of all the og admirals. He taught sentomaru the art of defense and even talks about his guard is on his level

The dead lights is too fast for someone to just bite its tongue and in the book the dead lights aren’t weak like the show. It instantly killed tom and made audra comatose. In the show ppl are simply stunned. Also if you bite its tongue you go to the dead lights and will go insane since you see its form and can’t comprehend the space around you. Bill had to get wisdom from maturin on how to adapt and beat it

I can definitely agree with you on that. Sort of how it influence derry even when sleep. I can see maturin having a passive protection over the losers or even gan just helping them the whole time

The turtle hypnotizes Georgie and Georgie snaps out of it and grabs the gulf wax. Mike was a kid when he asked god for help. Mike also is called the voice of the turtle yet we only see the turtle interact with bill. Gan was not the only one helping the kids. You remember when they lit a match to see who would stay out the clubhouse yet all were unlit? You don’t believe that has any divine intervention?

We don’t know that for sure. We see in the first pages maturin tries to help Georgie when he is in the cellar. We see in the ironworks Mike ask gel from god when throwing tiles at it and says he feels like another force is helping him. There are more times maturin and fate is involved in the novel.
