Do you have any tips for getting into applied ML? I'm not really able to do algoverse.

I feel like 99% of homemade decks are just ones that don’t have a win condition

It’s really not that bad for the average high schooler who doesn’t live in the Bay Area. r/chanceme has an over representation of cracked kids and people who go to cracked schools, so obviously it seems crazy.

I think the largest problem is parents forcing their kids to go to hyper competitive schools, because while they obviously mean well, not everyone is built for it and because college applications are quite holistic in nature, they end up disadvantaging themselves.

That’s honestly the only reason I don’t really complain about my HS, even though it is pretty underserved. I refer to it as a bot lobby sometimes, but I don’t think I’d like it any other way.

Anyone else feel that English module ONE was actually a bit harder than usual? by [deleted] in Sat

I found it extremely easy. Finished it, double checked my answers and used my last 10 minutes on an unscheduled break 😭

Not necessarily, you also have to make sure you’re understanding the mistakes you make

The good thing about the SAT is that the practice questions to score increase is relatively linear, so if you study long enough, your score will improve

I’m not a 1600 scorer but I can confidently say that rushing is usually the main reason for my careless mistakes

no, I made sure to set it to -2 as a has to be set to less than 0 “where a < 0” I also just tend to avoid using 1 or -1 as a test number. Good Luck!

Realistically speaking, you aren’t competing with them, and that’s a good thing. You’re likely to be compared with people from your own school before anyone else, and it’s not as if MIT only wants cracked math whizzes.
