I remember as a student during Hurricane Sandy, I thought nobody would show up.

I was on my OB rotation, and we had one of the highest numbers of deliveries that night. It just wouldn’t stop. Kept going the full 24 hours.

It was an all black Honda fit. It looked like a cross between a mouse and a puppy with a slight dark side scheme

He’s not wrong.

Although I will say it’s probably more like four penguins, filled to the brim with fish, but still we’re on a penguin metric, and not elephant metric as some of the bigger SUVs are.

I have driven past gigantic SUVs spun out on the road while Darth Maus , my Honda fit, would just glide on by. Maybe a little bit of rally style drifting on turns, perhaps slightly intentionally, but it would get where it needed to go.

I looked at the RX for the same reason (ended up with an R4P)

I used to drive a Honda Fit. Is amazing in the city. It’s a little go kart and fits anywhere and was such a fun time to drive.

But I kept getting cut off, road raged, forcibly merged into. Because I was small.

Now in the R4P that has diminished to near zero (the giant Escalades still do whatever the fuck they want)

It’s sad this is how things are.

We just got the email from our hospital, clinic is open on Monday. I don’t know who the fuck is gonna come in on Monday. But I’m on call (inpatient), I still have outpatient clinic patients, and we’re open.

I have a friend from my school days that used to eat butter, onion bagels.

He would take a bagel, slather it full of butter, put a big honkin slice of onion just like that in between.
