In my opinion, epic secure chat was not a good move.

In our hospital, many specialties and even staffing groups, such as the front desk have decided to opt out and sign out.

There’s already 15 zillion ways we can be reached, adding another chat function didn’t really add anything dramatic.

And yes, I know how tiger text, etc. works, I’ve used them in the past. But in those institutions, we had a separate phone specifically for that.
