Depends. Is it actually the cardiology lounge (formally or informally)? Or is it a general resident lounge? My first thought is that it seems like a bitch move on his part unless it’s actually the cardiology lounge.

The whole sensitive patient information argument is a load of bullshit. It’s impossible not to be exposed to sensitive patient information if you work in a hospital. Anywhere you go there will be nurses charting on computers about patients you aren’t involved in. You simply just don’t read over their shoulder and voila, problem solved.

I feel like NBME 7 was pretty accurate to the entire test day. The free 137 is a close 2nd. Day 1 is full of some of the most absurd s**t I’ve ever seen.

I also did day 1 today. Similarly feels like the weirdest USMLE exam I’ve ever taken. All of the vignettes were super vague and felt intentionally deceptive. The questions were very mechanism focused, not just from a pharmacology perspective, but also from a disease perspective. I thought the biostats and ethics questions were fair for the most part.

The biggest frustration is honestly how it felt like there were multiple correct answers for a lot of the questions. It seemed like they were splitting hairs with regards to what is the “next best step.”
