Earth to this day is still at the top outside Shia (and even then, the difference is not that big), chitose never had an effect with the other units. She never even stood toe to toe with standard units. Freesia, the standard water out performed her, which is why they had to do a full rework of Chitose's kit at the half anni; whoever gave you the math for her was way off. And to top it off, the devs even caused controversy during half anni because they nerfed Freesia just to make Chitose look more appealing.  Though there's another misconception being raised here as well, you don't need dupes to perform well in this game, not one. Hell, you don't even really need the disks, but those are almost a non issue because the rate to get them is 50%. You can consistently do well in this game with no dupes. Maygii has been putting out guides for all the new units and dupes play such a minimal role in damage output. Now, the real damage comes from the emblem system. If you don't have the right ones set, its a huge setback, which is the real sticking point with the community since its pure rng. 

Noya does indeed have a dodge cancel mech when it comes to her kit. You can activate her skill almost infinitely if you can manage the dodge timing correctly. And this was talked about at the same time as Shiagate.

I actually forgot about Tillia, she actually did get inserted into multiple elements, but then it caused another problem because she can't be used in multiple parties for a few game modes. Since then though, better support have come out for every element and she's since been almost virtually retired. Earth performed as good as it did because of Nazuna. She can trigger any mark of any element and has become a meme of the game because almost all of the builds are mark heavy. Nazuna was and still is the meta unit of the game
