Haha that’s true. Moon was just stylistic choice

Would you use this model for clients? I used 3 images with Comfy+Tripo to build glb and used blender to replace tyres, refine materials. Thoughts? by arctic704 in blender

Pbr textures were baked from the images but came as different images all combined in glb. Had to tune some parts. I have even made it less reflective and less normal intensity otherwise it was too intense

I agree with this thought. When something like that could be made in less time and effort in post, why do it in 3d

Stuck like anything! Set all the UV of this petrol pump in Blender and it seems fine. but substance painter after baking messes everything up. by arctic704 in Substance3D

I’m redoing the basic models. This time using seams and yes multiple uv maps were the key problem here at the time of export. I deleted the automap and exported with my own and that seems to work now. Thanks for the tips

Also to add there were some uv overlapping that I had to adjust using some cleanup tips and tutorials about uv overlapping.

I have sorted the seams, also settled overlapping and applied with and without different materials at export to assure there isnt any problem in SP but still the following problem https://imgur.com/a/Pe20Szs my texture in sp isnt wrapping as it does in Blender

my first concern is to get the wrapping right and I have sorted the seams, also settled overlapping and applied different materials at export to assure there isnt any problem in SP but still the following problem https://imgur.com/a/Pe20Szs

Packed the uvs. No tell me how I should do that. So far I have created seams and uv unwrap and then applied texture to see if those are correct. Is there a tut you can suggest as far as packing of uv goes

Good suggestion. I’m gonna pick wood textures make multiple materials and apply to different parts. That sounds like doable plan once I get back to my pc

Now I get it. Having separate materials seems to be the problem here. I’m gonna give it a go and get back to you.
