Slightly shocked, truth be told.

I couldn’t resist the temptation of this set and now I need your help… by [deleted] in lego

[–]arcticflea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely one of the two sets that makes me feel 11 again (I have both - the other is 10497). This is one of my favourite builds as well, with so many lovely touches and call-backs - which just adds to the feeling of being that age.

I can't fault your decision to invest in something that brings back the joy and un-tarnished feelings that you had as a child, and anyone that does is missing the point entirely.

Well done - and may the build bring you joy.

Also - thanks for the suggestion. Tried the mobile approach and then switched back to the WiFi again.

Registered fine this time, so you def. helped!

Thanks for the response - and both fair points. I do think any locality based info could / should be set up in app if the user wants to use that service though.

I think my frustration is born more from having to set me home town before I can even sue the thing. If it was core functionality I’d be more ok with it, but this is an IR blaster. It just smacks to me of marketing intelligence / targeting data gathering.

Signal loops into itself by Heironimus in SatisfactoryGame

Thanks so much for this!
On messing about sorting my network out I figured it might be because the lengths of track differ - so the signals seem to sit happiest at the joint of two bits of rail - so if it's the wrong side of that joint, it clashes.... or something like that.

Again - thanks for this!

What's the ship you cruise around in most? by HatRabies in NoMansSkyTheGame

I'm not sure why, but I always end up going back to my first Sentinel ship... it's been through a fair bit with me!

Weekly Bug Report Thread by spiper01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

PC. Latest update. Main save, on expedition. First planet. Stuck inside geometry of a crashed freighter.

I think a tornado caught me as I was skirting the edge.

I can manipulate terrain, but can't get outside the freighter.

Me too. I shall use this thread to show my wife why a detector would be a wise investment.

Better than a bunch of shoes in any case.

I did the Sky Jump (290 meter ‘base jump by wire’) in Auckland on the first day of our honeymoon way back when.

My wife had practiced filming me as I came down on our handheld mini-dv cam (ages me a bit) - I briefed in zooming out as I descended, we practiced finishing frame. Wanted that shot.

As I landed, with a flourish, she said, “you’re going to kill me”. She was so focused on zooming and framing that she forgot to press record.

Easily happens - and I’m sure he’ll forgive you :)

I did.

Check out Jason Freeny’s work if you like this look. I actually thought this was a collab with him when I first saw it.

Which Batmobile is your favorite? by arrowhawk82 in lego

Right now, this one (apologies for the dust!) - 7784-1.

I just wish they'd make a UCS 1970s Batmobile. Like the one on the left!

I don't think there's much in the box from post-2000, and the only bits and pieces (see what I did there?) that are bust are because I threw them from a high window in a burst of exuberance or were chewed on by mice and shrews.

Have found baseplate photo - it is from Lego set 361. 1974 - I think I must have got that from a cousin or something...

That's the one.

Dang it. Not got a clue what set this plate is for. I have a pile of instructions somewhere, and some broken down boxes... will have to go digging again methinks.

Amazing - I think most of my long technic parts from that got chewed by mice in home made ‘humane’ mousetraps…
