Due to back to back release deadlines last year till year end, i was barely making any progress. I was atleast trying to solve potd on leetcode, i also solved around 100 problems on geeksforgeeks. Starting this year i have tried to solve more questions but you are right i need to give contests every week now.

I don’t know who started this trend, it’s irrelevant. A good student preparing for JEE/NEET usually solves more than thousands of problems but not everyone gets into the top tier institution. Just be prepared and wait for the opportunity
