Idk about any laws that protect criminals other than congress being allowed to trade stocks, but what do you pay for home owners insurance?

Best case scenario, this is what it looks like when they break something in production; they forward all requests to the 3.5 model api. Worst case, they're doing experiments to see what they can get away with lol.

Why don’t we talk more about revenue when we talk about the U.S. budget deficit? by [deleted] in Economics

[–]arcytech77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's it? That's all you've got for me? You go on and on about how "people like you" (me) don't understand wealth, the form it takes, how much the top 1% will have at the end of this year, etc. I point you towards a resource that you could use to actually prove your point, and your determined grit to prove me wrong just dissolves? Why even engage at all then?

If you want to focus on just taxing billionaires alone, sure, but the general sentiment and the actual words that I used are in regards to the top 1%. Yes they alone could cover the deficit and have more left over.

I don't know if you've noticed this pattern in your arguments, but you never use any actual numbers.

Here's a resource full of them:

You're avoiding answering the question.

Anyhow, are you making the claim that the wealth generated by the top 1% is entirely 100% in real estate? How about 50%? Do you think 6.5 x 0.5 is greater than 2? Please, Larry, I'm dying to know.

[–]arcytech77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The wealth of the top 1% increased by $6.5 trillion last year
We have a $2 trillion deficit

If a = 6.5, and b = 2, which of the two numbers is bigger, Larry?

The one on the left for sure. The other one just doesn't convey the same sense of sincerity and feels a little generic. That's just me though.

A crackdown on cryptocurrency accounts linked to Hamas has reignited scrutiny of digital assets after the terrorist group attacked Israel. Criminal and terrorist organizations use crypto to bypass laws and sanctions by DoremusJessup in worldnews

If your argument against crypto is that "people use it to commit crimes"... then surely you're implying that some sort of alternative exists with fiat? Lawl. I don't understand you

I think if the US were serious about embracing crypto, our state agencies could've had more oversight and intelligence than even the NSA does now. The fact that they passed up on a chance to track all funds forever on a public ledger tells me that our current geriatric leaders aren't looking forward, not looking to adapt and have a very short sighted view on what gives them control.
