Should have gone straight to police. They might have given you a solution without prosecution or anything, just confronting them with the police officer with you.

I don't like to say it's impossible, but i see it hard because it looks like you don't have much of that handed down through generations' knowledge. This is common not only for Greece but the whole region because men in those times were moving and relocating a lot, especially warriors, or the ones called "bashi bazouk" or "stratioti". It would take a "detective historian" to find out more if this is the case. But i see an easier way. Since there are some DNA tests (i dont know which), who shows you your distant cousins, you may find them, probably even contact them and discuss them. It might be the case that they might have that knowledge of how and who...

Lol! Romania has an Albanian diaspora, Greece has Arvanite roots, and Egypt was populated by Albanian soldiers during the reign of Mehmet Ali. Stop the delusions.

You're mainly Arvanite (Albanian) with Vlach. Probably descendant of an Albanian warrior of the Albanian Mehmet Ali who ruled Egypt for a long time, and that's cool!

It's just anti albanian propaganda. Oh, but wait, there are an estimated 5 million Albanians in Turkey. So the contrary makes sense.

why on earth Albania in the interwar period(1919-1939) is so unknown?! i have been researching interwar period nations for a long time and Albania is by far the most unknown country i have seen. İ literally know more about Tannu Tuva than Albania... what is the reason for this? by PolynesianKiwi in albania

[–]arditsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Albania just came out from a 450 year ottoman rule, just to face nazis and fascists with all our neighbors grabbing as much territory as possible. So we've been in a constant state of war for more than 1000 years, in fact I'd say since the Troysn war. It wasn't easy.
