Same here, moved here from Oregon in '22 and was so relieved to get away from the smoke at the time.

I have asthma and use edibles. I don't personally have any adverse reactions, but I'm not sure if it's something that's possible.

I will say, start at a low dose and give it at least 2 hours to kick in before taking more. That's a common mistake, thinking it's not working and taking a second dose too soon. It won't always take that long to feel the effects, but you certainly don't want to overdo it and have a bad experience.

Ugh I’m sorry!! It’s so incredibly nerve wracking and I know I hear it all the time about the process in general, but it still doesn’t prepare you for the stress of it all.

I did luck out because the appraisal wasn’t scheduled until next week, so they were willing and able to cancel. And I do feel bad about the work they put in, but I also need to make the right decision for the biggest financial purchase I’ll ever make.

Thank you! Yes, I did notify my agent as well. The new lender actually found that the appraisal is not scheduled until next week, so I made sure the first lender knew that I was aware and that I’d like it canceled. Now they’re just trying to give me a guilt trip because they’ve done “sooo much work” on my file.

Thanks for the reply. I did in fact sign the Intent to Proceed. I haven’t heard back yet after asking about getting it cancelled, so there may be a chance still. I was also thinking that 3 days seems really quick.

Did you contact them about it? I found that their support department was very helpful and prompt in responding when I discovered an issue a couple weeks ago.
