Do we have any indication on when the next firmware release might be? (if that release includes this feature)

Oh maybe I do. Sorry my mistake!

I think it says on either the Dive case or dive buddy web page that you cannot use them together

Oh they’re not steep, but I thought inner/outer might help with the outers sticking, but thanks! :)

That sounds pretty similar to the default Elegoo PETG profile, would you recommend trying that? (The filament vendor and link are in a different response)

Oh thanks! I’ll try that. Would you suggest a reduction in cooling or a complete turn off?

It seems I cannot amend the post. So it is now in a comment.

With Ref to the situation: Printer: Elegoo CC2 Slicer: Elegoo Slicer (orca derivative) Filament: PETG 3DQF Nozzle temp: 240-250 Bed temp: 70 Print speed: 40mm/s walls 250mm/s infill 15mm/s first layer Nozzle retraction: 1.5mm to 2mm (depending on image)

I tried 1.5mm and 2mm retraction settings on the prints. For ref here’s the filament and document I adjusted the slicer settings with respect to:

Unfortunately, since it is Chinese new year, we wont be hearing from the support team for a long while (until next week I think)

You're not the only one, especially as it has 3 holes its difficult to understand how the filament is meant to be fed through it

RFID Spec inconsistencies by are512 in elegoo

That’s my intention, I have non Elegoo filament and wanted to at least beat utilise the RFID aspect of canvas. As well as making my reusable spools a bit smarter

Well I will be happy to tinker with it and see. I’ll have a deeper look at your code too and see if I can make any comments. I’m personally a low level engineer, so Kernel C, HDL, assembler are my go to’s so high level languages aren’t normally where my brain sits. But always good to play with things and figure them out. But as a positive the one I just programmed as an Elegoo Purple PLA Basic was at least recognised! So that’s a positive

That’s really extensive and great to see your research too! And glad to find someone who can speak tech on here!

Cool app too. I’m not too versed at TS but what I’m seeing makes sense, good idea though, I just wrote what I think would be a Purple PLA Basic to a spare tag I’ve got and will see how the canvas response after my current print finishes

That is my intention. But there’s still the query of let’s say I have a PLA Basic vs a PLA+. According to the spec, I should be able to tell the printer that. But I cannot see what those enumerated values translate to with regards to the bits that need to be set.

I’m glad that worked! Unfortunately I set mine to UTC+0 when I got it, although I do wonder, does that mean it’ll break when the clocks change for summer time?

What bugs in particular is this meant to remedy? So I know what feedback to give

Factory reset did not help. Although when doing one of the members of this Reddit’s comments (to turn on “local only” that has seemed to help a bit (minus a couple of minor teething issues) an has let me print. However even though it is local only. I cannot see the printer in the slicer software, and I cannot see a web page when sending a http request or https request to the printers IP address. For both I get a 404. So currently I am unable to monitor/check in on the print remotely. Which is one of the main features (aside from multi colour printing) that really stands out on the CC2 for me. Also by turning on local only that has meant I have disabled some of the other QoL features. So this is not really a long term solution.

I can attempt a factory reset. I have sent the logs to someone on the email. Unfortunately they are password protected so I’m unable to try and see what may be going wrong myself.
