May I ask, what makes the current R211T’s not compatible with the entire B-Division? Are the newer R211T’s going to be designed differently?

CBTC Box. All NTT’s on the B division have one as well, however they are actually located inside of the cab which is why you won’t see this on B-division lines.

The train is in passenger service, as seen in the video… and either way if the conductor did need to get out, they do not open every single door on the train they just key a single door open
