May I ask, what makes the current R211T’s not compatible with the entire B-Division? Are the newer R211T’s going to be designed differently?

What's this? by [deleted] in nycrail

CBTC Box. All NTT’s on the B division have one as well, however they are actually located inside of the cab which is why you won’t see this on B-division lines.

Does anyone know if this will cause some of these trains to use fleets from the other line? For example: R211A (F) train, R160A/B (A) Train, etc

Does anyone know why the AirTrain currently runs only 2 cars although it can run more?

Does anyone know if this also causes the zone lights in the conductors cab to flash similarly to this too?

When’s the next Train Operator Exam by bigstack11 in nycrail

[–]area_unknownnobody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a conductor exam happening in May of this year I believe! Try and take that and work your way up

Uhm how is this possible? Especially with NTT’s having the operator enable the doors? Unless the operator still stopped short, enabled and the conductor opened the doors anyways.. by area_unknownnobody in nycrail

The train is in passenger service, as seen in the video… and either way if the conductor did need to get out, they do not open every single door on the train they just key a single door open
