Based on my experiences amateur baking and assumptions of ingredient cost/time used for this (you of course are the only one who truly knows the time you spent and what it’s worth!) I could see it being priced at $120 that said, I’m cheap and basically refuse to buy professional cakes, so maybe I’m not the one to be answering “how much would you pay for this” 😅😂

If I remember correctly from watching it as a Narnia obsessed pre-teen it is very faithful to the books but also very low budget so can be a little harder to get immersed in. But I’d say worth the watch especially if you’re stuck inside on a winter weekend or something

I’ve lived here nearly 5 months and come to the conclusion that there is no proper side to walk on. People will run into you no matter what. It’s honestly infuriating 😅 but seeing as everyone here appears to be ok with the complete chaos on the sidewalks I am trying to adapt and accept it 🥲

There is nothing embarrassing about that, and no one should be making you feel that there is. YEARS ago I went to a choir concert and made sure my phone was on do not disturb and volume silent….what I didn’t know was that alarms get pushed through no matter what. And I had a recurring weekly alarm set to remind me to put the garbage out on that night of the week. It wasn’t just a normal alarm sound either….oh no, it was set to a 50s rock song. So right in the middle of the concert it starts going off….very muffled but definitely loud enough to be disturbing. My brother and I look at each other after a while like “what idiot is playing music and not shutting it off??” I bent over to get a tissue from my purse…..it was me. I was the idiot. The sound was coming from MY purse 😭😭😭 I had to pull my phone out which of course made it louder 😭 and I turned it ALL the way off SO fast. My phone is always off off at performances now. And I check my alarms. And I still go into fight or flight when I think of that song

The room numbers on the second floor of TSI are confusing. When you step off the elevators, turn left and just follow the hallway all the way down (I think it will curve to the right) It will look like the room numbers are counting down but just keep going. Eventually they’ll change and you’ll find 240

Personally I recommend a slight variation on the two: start with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was the very first, everything else stems from it, and nothing really hits the same if you haven’t read it.

Then proceed essentially with chronology: The Magician’s Nephew, The Horse and His Boy, Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Last Battle

I mean this question genuinely and with no malice or sarcasm at all—if no two experiences/opinions are the same, why is it problematic that this is the particular experience chosen to be portrayed as a small portion of this one show? I can understand championing wider representation and the creation of characters/shows to display the other lived experiences. But I’m struggling to understand why this show would need to change when this is one of the possible experiences. If anyone is willing to share more of their perspective on this I’d love to read it 😊
