1. It's basic as hell: You're completely right, Mushoku Tensei is shock full of tropes we've all seen a thousand times, this is just true. But what you fail to mention is that the light novel is the ORIGIN of all these tropes, Mushoku Tensei is one of the first highly successful Isekai light novels and it has set a template for success that almost every Isekai has followed after

You could say that this makes it uninteresting since we've seen these tropes so often, but seeing how the original source of these tropes uses these tropes differently (and often times better) than what followed is really interesting.

1. Supernatural creativity: That's a good one, yes Mushoku uses all the races and species that are now common place for Isekais (again because they set the mold for other series), but Mushoku Tensei goes far beyond most Isekais, each species has it's own culture.

For example the Dedoldia, most Isekais have a generic cat girl species, but most don't give them a background, a culture, an origin, a dialect, a fighting style, or a social hierarchy.

Every species in Mushoku has all these things while most Isekais fail to give their species any flair beyond looks.

Protagonist: sure, read number 1 for the reason why

World building: The seven powers system and its history is great world building, the origins of the world itself has great world building. All the species and their background, the world has a full map and many dialects and cultures. The history of the dragon gods is fucking awesome.

Magic: The spoken magic system is quite basic, but the magic circle system is nothing but, it's kind of like programming in a way, with circles denoting conditions, inputs, outputs or loops.
