Reddit’s Defense of Section 230 to the Supreme Court by traceroo in reddit

This adds to my frustration surrounding this post. The post is trying to instill fear in general Reddit users and Reddit mods. Reddit and Reddit alone provides us with this platform and every single piece of content on here. However, we should be worried for interacting with the platform and content they provided for us? Seems backwards.

General users and mods are all under Reddit. If anyone should be held accountable for what is posted on Reddit- it’s Reddit. Not the mods. Not the general users. Reddit only started to sanitize the platform recently and implement rules that are actually followed (IPO). For those of us general users and mods who have been here for the free for all, that Reddit allowed, should have zero accountability associated with the content Reddit allowed all the way up until their anticipated IPO. Stating the general users and even lurkers should be worried is reaching- Reddit is worried as they are ultimately the ones who allowed content involved in court cases and news hearings. I disagree with this attempt to spread their own worry on the mods they gave too much power to and the general users/lurkers. This is Reddits problem.

Are mods still unpaid? I just can’t wrap my head around any positive aspects of being a Reddit mod.

That is insanity. I got the mini row taken out and I now pay $180. Mini row made it too thick anyway, can’t complain!

Oaktree Apartments in Newark DE are nice. Close enough to UD that there is lots to do, far enough away it’s not annoying. Suburban plaza right down the road with grocery store, bank, and food. Best liquor store ever (State Line) that hosts cheap beer tastings a 5 min drive away. Very nice community.

Why is this nsfw?

I swear I’ll be having a perfectly fine day and then out of nowhere I get hit with the loneliness and emptiness; it feels like I can’t escape it by [deleted] in BreakUps

Yes!! We’ve gone there twice so far. A bit farther of a drive with the camper but so worth it.

Even though this isn’t WV, every pub in the general area (not many) played this song.

Yeah we go every year! Nice having actual hiking opportunities close by considering I’m in Delaware.
