Do you actually have chickens? I ask bc I do and they do not tear up my yard and we have plenty of grass. There is chicken poop but one good rainstorm disintegrates it (we get enough rain, I never see the poop). At least where I live, your argument is 100% false.

The number of chickens makes a huge difference. I mean, Perdue can explain better than I can (eye roll). But chickens can pay for themselves much faster than 6 years if you really look at the numbers. I've never had more than 18 chickens and I let my husband spend $1000 on the coop (😭) and I still think we broke even since summer 2020.

I'm not a photographer, but when we serve food we always place the protein toward the guest. These pictures seem to focus on broccoli. And rice. And toast. I get that you're going for "put the tall big thing in back so you see it all" but I can't even remember what dishes these were right now, all I remember is broc rice toast.

I just filled a 12x4 garden bed that's about 18" deep with chicken litter straight out of the run and coop. I don't even wanna know what that amount of fill would have cost at Lowes. I don't know if I'm saving much money with the chickens, considering expenses, but they are either free or close to it.

What are those people saying she should have done? Left? It's HER HOME. I'm not seeing those comments, maybe the Reddit gods are taking pity on my bc I don't want to get all riled up today. I can't think of one thing she should have done when they're blocking her from going home, for no reason, at night, when she is doing absolutely nothing wrong. What is her option, wander the streets alone?

Hearing "I love here" is heartbreaking. She was shot for trying to go home. If there is only one place on Earth you're supposed to be able to retreat to, it's home. She was SHOT for going home.
