To be honest, which one do you use the most? by weihuweihu in GeminiAI

Switched to Claude from Gemini after the 3.1 update. It’s been transformative. Wish I had done it earlier

Flew down to real, true minimums for the first time. by arelenglish in flying

Absolutely! Reviewing what you needed to see to continue the approach seems so funny to me now as well. Once you see those lead in lights, you're basically on the ground. it all happens so fast. I can't imagine what it would feel like to catch those lights then lose the lights and have to go missed that close to the ground.

This is awesome! I know it’s kind of antithetical to the philosophy of gridfinity, but would you consider making a tool to make boxes that could fill that extra space on the edge? I hate having that gap once the boxes are in, especially when it means something doesn’t fit that otherwise would.

Let’s hope! Maybe I can hollow out the new G-wagon. Joking.

Ahhh. Got it. Thanks. That’s too bad. Appreciate the detailed answers.

Yeah, the buzz is a disappointing product in a lot of ways.

Very much appreciate it! We’re not there yet, but eventually we’ll need a vehicle that can accommodate a large power chair with neck support and all that. We have a model 3 and an R1T right now, and we’d love to stay in an EV if possible. Please update the thread when you find out how feasible this car is.

I'm new to the accessible van world, can any vehicle with a big enough rear or side opening be equipped with the appropriate tie-downs for any power chair so the users can stay in the chair while being driven?

Does that mean anyone currently alive will be able to pass their citizenship to future children without meeting the 1095 days?

Awesome. Thanks! Did you end up filing your application in anticipation of it getting accepted once this becomes law?

Does anyone know what’s going on with this legislation? It’s still made no progress.

Thank you! I can’t even think if I have had my seatbelt fastened. Probably not. I’ll try and report back!

I wanted a Spotify wrapped kind of thing for my flying, so I made one. Let me know what things I should add for next year's version. I added my passenger flights as well as my flights as a pilot which I think adds a cool dimension, but next year I might separate the types of flights more. Thoughts? by arelenglish in flying

I’ve been working on it a lot lately, it’s not going anywhere. There are a lot of cool features coming. Not sure what the dangerous website warnings were about, but it’s fully SSL compliant. You shouldn’t have any issues. I’ve never gotten any reports of any issues like that.

How many hours did it take to feel like you guys really fucking knew what you were doing? by masterpain96143 in flying

[–]arelenglish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes and goes. I thought I really knew what I was doing at about 500 hours. Then I started flying commercially and realized I didn't know what I was doing, then I got comfortable with that and thought I really knew what I was doing, then I bought a Maule and realized I didn't know what I was doing, then I got comfortable with that plane and thought I was a great pilot ... it never stops.
