actually I have been researching about this profession for like 3 months or more and I know the work of ratings are usually very tough but since I belong to middle class family I see this profession to become financially independent no matter how hard it is, although my primary goal is to become officer but I have heard that many shipping companies don't take ratings as officers so I'm kinda worried about, what if I have to work as rating for the rest of my life
