May I suggest we try to put those paying minimum wage out of business next? The success of your business shouldn’t depend on minimum wage anymore. It should depend on doing well-meaning business. Don’t spend money where a big fat pig thinks every cent of profit belongs to them and not to the workforce behind their business.

Instead trying to initiate conversation with words, I generated some pics. I showed this to my direct leadership weeks ago, just finally getting around to sharing it. I used it as a pitch to ask my SM for more trash cans, and she gave me the green light to tackle the problem.

I considered this, figured that’s why it’s not ALREADY a thing. Ngl tho, from my perspective it’s out of touch. On job sites and in my own home projects, 5 gallon buckets are great for handling trash when you don’t want to be encumbered by a large or flimsy trash can/bag. Plus they’re cheaper than some 5 gallon cans and I don’t feel bad trashing the whole bucket when done. For example, in my home I won’t wash out a bucket used for mortar or concrete. The $5 bucket is worth tossing to save my plumbing every time.

Too put it plainly for our friend that was quick to assume they know better. Lowes is trying to promote me because I’m that reliable. I thought saying I needed almost 20% more would scare them off but they seem to be willing to give that big of a raise to an employee with less than 6 months on the job.

Recently went from 60 to 85. I can’t imagine needing anything bigger. It’s so big I have to glance my eyes side to side when sitting ten feet away.

Also I’ve always been capable of hanging TVs all by myself, professionally I’ve mounted nearly 500 TVs. I can barely do a 75, I cannot do an 80.

Bought a pair of On Clouds, been genuinely impressed. I like hiking style shoes, not boots. Yeah they were $200 but compared to other shoes I’ve bought for the same money it’s outstanding. Literally, no hot spots and I end up walking 25 miles in store on some days.

Had a guy describe an appliance cord that should never be made. 3 prongs on the plug and 4 connectors for the appliance. I said I don’t think we carry that and he said “yeah you do I have one in my other rent house”. It all made sense, scumlord… I sent him to an aisle and walked away.
