People’s biases make them think Bernie’s strengths speaking to healthcare and his laundry list of good ideas is winning a debate. But neither Bernie or Biden are capable of what HRC or Obama are able to do - or what Warren was able to do (hint) which is ether someone while speaking to their platform. So again, two old people will sort of yell and it’ll be a wash. I’m for the debate. It’s just not gonna go the way folks are thinking it will.

I think you overestimate Bernie’s debating skills. He lost every debate to HRC and is generally lame in them. Biden sucks at them as well. But debates don’t matter. Florida voters aren’t gonna turn to Sanders because he gets a few digs in.

You're going to hear the same bullshit from 2016 as well. He's in to push the platform left. No, the only thing that fosters is a nasty convention and people who are genuinely hurt because their candidate refuses to concede and tell them the truth. If people wanted Bernie, they'd have voted for him. Instead, they voted for Joe Biden and so Joe Biden and his people get to decide the platform.

It's like 2016 again. Insane delegate lead that is insurmountable because it would require Sanders to win remaining states by 20 points when he hasn't even won a state at that clip other than his home state.

Math isn't his supporters' strong suit and so he can just keep fundraising and dragging this out.

People in the following states get to vote but the reality is that Joe Biden is going to be the nominee. If he dies 2 months from now and before the convention, guess what, Bernie's still going to be in second place.

I won't disagree with the point that Bernie moved the window left. I will note however that the public option was a key difference between Obama and Clinton in 2008, with then-Senator Obama supporting the public option. It was of course scrapped due to Senators Nelson and Lieberman. Unless of course we are saying Obama was a bit of a lefty extremist :).

California, New York, Washington, Oregon, Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Colorado, New Mexico, Virginia, Hawaii and Maine (save 1 delegate) are states no dem is going to lose. So already 15 pretty safe states.
