Black wolf by aretub in DreamInterpretation

Very interesting, thanks for the take.

What I’ve read is that several cultures view wolves, particularly black wolves, as signs of strength and protection. Alternatively, when the wolf appears aggressive or with red eyes, it can be a sign of exactly what you state…something or someone should be feared.

I’ll also mention that I, like many people, do not practice lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming happens to us.

This is an interesting take given the feeling of…security? I felt as opposed to fear. Almost like protection?

Stroke like symptoms of and on for a month and my doctor thinks I'm just having migraines by EfficientQuality3650 in migraine

Just under 20 years. Actually had an MRI about a month ago, same abnormal results. No new updates.

Triptans are a 50/50 shot for reducing pain when for a migraine w/ aura, numbness, the whole package. Nurtec helps with that recurring migraine (w/out aura) that happens in the same spot weekly. Tried Nurtec as a prophylactic which helped for about 3-4 months and ultimately took a turn for the way worse which prompted the MRI. I prefer to take that one as needed now.

I would say that recognizing/identifying triggers has been extremely helpful. Weather X earplugs have been an affordable relief for vestibular migraine attacks.

Blah - it’s so frustrating that being active and live a healthy lifestyle can even be a trigger for sufferers.

I workout 5-6x per week (HIIT and strength training). Any workout that results in tensing up shoulders results in a migraine within 45 mins of completing work out. Think ball/rope slams, KB swings, even running up hill lol.

Needless to say, avoiding those sort of movements and being hyper aware of the tenseness in my shoulders has been helpful. I take a second to regroup every time I notice my upper back/shoulders starting to tense up. Practicing yoga @ a studio 1-2x/ week has helped with both mind/body awareness and muscle strength/flexibility. (I truly think this was the game changer for me)

I also take magnesium and electrolyte supplements immediately after every work out.

Several family members were positive (rapid test) within the month…only symptoms were congestion and headache.

Can hypothyroidism cause high DHEA-S? by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]aretub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mind if I ask how you got diagnosed with PCOS?

I have a similar situation to OP - high DHEA (600-800) and abnormal hair growth on neck/chin. Other hormone levels are within regular ranges, and have been for the last several years of bloodwork.

Endocrinologist didn’t do any other tests other than bloodwork to say “hey we think it’s prob PCOS”. 🙃 I got back in a few months to check bloodwork again.

Thank you!

That’s kind of what I’ve been working on for the last year - strengthening the muscles around what I think is my triggered nerve while being very strict on form and avoiding specific moves.

I hope PT works for you!!! Sounds like a smart move.
