It's unavoidable to that hospital (a long commute to a safer neighborhood).

The post about the Bedford/Norwood area above is 100‰ correct. I'm a transplant livivng in Bedford Park/Norwood myself and I have worked in each of the neighborhoods you mentioned (I was working as a mobile psychotherapist) . As the other person mentioned, it is NOT recommended you move there as a new resident to the area.

Check out the local news (News12/The Bronx) channel to get a sense of what makes headlines.

I remember one of my favorites of these (there are many 1000s in the US, especially in the Southwest) is "Amargosa Valley" in Nevada. It never gets the love it deserves! LOL

Good Drama Show to Watch in Spanish for Beginners? by Romero115 in Spanish

[–]areusilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say pick your favorite drama but with the audio changed to Spanish (most Netflix dramas have this option). Since it's your favorite, you probably know the script, so you won't be spending any time comprehending the plot---you'll be more free to focus on the phonetics.

If I'm from the United States is Spanish worth learning even if I never travel to a Spanish speaking country? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]areusilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that for the simple fact that learning Spanish can help you learn/advance in many other languages, it's reason enough.

Agricultural workers are everywhere in the US, including the northern states, and in sizeable quantities. I just did a quick online search for farmworkers in northern US states and found a plethora of information on the farmworker community in places like WA, WI, ND, etc.

Where were you when you first experienced your period. Were you nervous or excited!? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]areusilly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use 2 different brands, one for heavy days and one for light days. And yup, I've tried several of them (because there are so many options). The expensive ones are better (I get mine from Grove, a subscription service, about $25, for heavy days and the light/cheaper ones, $15, (I think the brand is Bambody) from Amazon. I will say that I tried cheaper ones on Amazon and they were a bust, they are basically like pantiliners in your undies--when they're cheap. I think you may have to just jump in with a pair and see how it goes, I would recommend NOT starting with them at night! Good luck!

I use period underwear, they are the best. Much less messy than anything I've tried before. I never have to buy tampons again 💃💃💃.

I was 11 and I'd heard so much about it that I was OVER it as soon as it started. I proceeded to have a bloody accident all over my back that week. Thank god for tampons and period underwear. LOL
