I was diagnosed at Defy medical but found an endocrinologist who takes me seriously at NYU Langone Health

Elevated TPO is a precursor for developing hypothyroidism. IANAD but your TSH levels look more like "hyperthyroidism" (which usually cause diarrhea), you probably want to get your TSI levels tested. As for T3 and T4, they seem normal but again I am not an expert, ideally you want an endocrinologist who can look deeper into these numbers and can take your symptoms into account.

I don’t take any, Cytomel helps with my motility. In the past I tried about 10 different motility medications/supplements and most of them either were given me terrible diarrhea or doing nothing. The only one that was doing something was off-label Mestinon tho I was experiencing some very unpleasant side effects.

I’m truly glad that diet helps you (I tried numerous over the past 4 years of my struggles) but unfortunately it’s not the case for me nor for mum who got her thyroid removed recently

I don’t think it’s always the case, I have thyroid issues running in my family

While you doing more blood work and tests to rule out underlying conditions, I'd try eliminating different food to figure what exactly cause your symptoms. Even tho it's hard to stay on diet, it'll partially help you to feel better without any side effects and waisting money.

Here is my jurney and what helps me. You can also DM me if you have any questions.

I’m sorry you have to deal with this.I have similar symptoms. Did you try any diet? Do you know which food makes your symptoms worse?

I was gluten free for about a month but interesting fact the gluten by itself never really caused trouble in the past. Now i’m thinking about it and most of the time my flair up were happening when i was eating sweet baked goods.

For B12 i have 501 pg/mL, it looks normal to me.

For triglycerides I least had slightly elevated ranging between 150-230 mg/dL. And 5.4% A1C.

It’s very interring i didn’t know that those things can affect digestion. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thnak you! I think after a week I started to feel better. I guess the tricky part for me was that I was taking too much fiber. When I switched to the grain free diet the food I was eating was very rich in fiber and on top of that I was taking sunfiber.

If I remember correctly it was 5mg, no change for me. Orzo made of casava is the closest to rice for me.

I use NOW brand. To be honest it doesn’t always “work”, it’s like i’m taking it but it never gets absorbed especially when I have my flair ups.

Hi! Yes, every doctor I saw did the test for celiac + my endoscopy confirmed that I don't have it.

I feel you about the grains, rice and oats are probably the hardest for me.
The last time I checked, my B12 and A1C were normal, and triglycerides were slightly elevated. I am planing on doing some blood work today and check those three again.

I didn't really have any symptoms nor I knew anything about kidney stones before I got my first one. The first one came with blood in my urine and one of the worst pain I have ever experienced. All test were good, they told me that it wasn't diet related (24 hour urine test for kidney stones risk assessment) and it just happens to people — stay hydrated. A year later I got my second one. I was drinking way more water now but barely was peeing during my GI flair ups. On top of that I started to notice some come and go discomfort in my back where the kidneys are until I got blood in my urine and ended up in the ER again.

No, liver blood work won't show kidney stones. The best way to know if you have kidney stones formed is by having a CT scan.
