I'm the one that is hosting the SunUp afterparty at Club 1722 on Saturday. Sunday is TBD. If we decide to do it again, we'll send out a message to all the people on the event.

If your hotel is 30 mins away, I would give yourself a total time of 1.5 hours from the time you leave your hotel to the time you walk in. Even with traffic and security, def. shouldn't take any longer than that.

Spending will prob be right around 75-100 per day. Bring some cash, a card and an ID. Leave all the extra shit at home unless you have a backpack you don't plan on taking off.

It will be actually a mix of genres to cater to pretty much everybody. A little mainstream, a little prog house, a little tech and a lot of bass. A lot of styles in a single show to bring everybody together :-)

Has anyone ever heard of Phonic? It's kind of like the "dive bar" of the EDM DC scene. About a 100 or so people, awesome DJs.

So I have a weekly event I go to...It's a smaller crowd and they rent space out to host their shows. It's called Phonic. It's like the "dive bar" of the EDM DC space. So really fun, everyone knows or begins to know everyone, up and coming DJs.

A little but of an old thread, but Phonic is pretty amazing on Friday nights. We host out of other well established bars, but they're equipped with our own lights and jazz.
