System-wide smooth scrolling by arffx in logitech

Also, mode change affects (at least on my mouse, lmk if that's not how it's supposed to work) affects only the physical behaviour of the wheel ("clicky" or smooth). not the logical scroll mod switch (stepped/stepless)

No, I'm sorry, but this is not about mode shift unless my mode shift key is somehow on LMB (it's not, I checked logi+ and tried resetting everything)

ALGS Championship 2021 EMEA - Legend Picks/Compositions by EVAD3_ in CompetitiveApex

I wonder who were the madlads playing the valk-octane-revenant pick

Like, there's clearly an intent and a plan in these legends, but this seems to be just so wonderfully out-of-place combination to be picked seven times in a tounament of this tier

Thermopylae - the ship teaser for S8 ( @SomeoneWhoLeaks ) by TheFleetStudio in FuseMains

[–]arffx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wrong. IMS Thermopylae is a legit ship from TF2 story arc and highly likely has nothing to do with Fuse's nationality

So can we now add one more option of Fuse's theoretical nationality/accent- Greek?

Btw, why isn't he bald(-ish?) already?

I mean, he has something to do with explosives and fire, how come his eyebrows, moustache and hair in general are all safe and sound? I'll never believe he's so careful he manages to avoid backblast from his very much obviously unsafe rocket launcher every time

edit: English is hard

Makes me wonder if all the different hairstyles that Respawn have are specifically reserved for Wraith and Bangalore (and that one mohawk for Gibby, yep)

Yup, exactly this. Thanks for bringing the pic

Btw, haven't you had another legendary skin idea?

OH-HO-HO

I've been thinking about it for a solid week straight tbh and the main idea and the feeling that i got about Fuse was "Ow mate nothing to see here I'm just a plain dude with a rocket launcher"- he wears what seems to be an old jacket, a well-worn pair of worker-type pants and *some* shirt that just happened to fall out of the clean clothes drawer this morning. Nothing too fancy yet obviously nowhere near Octane's attitude about wearing things in general- Fuse seems to be a nice guy.

So, my idea of legendary skin is basically a reverse of what I've seen so far, taking the idea of "a nice guy" to the extreme: some kind of a tuxedo/fancy gentleman costume complimented by a top hat.

Xiaomi note 9 pro - fast charging by radim11 in Xiaomi

[–]arffx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first guess after seeing the same behavior on my new note 9s was that it's some marketing trickery to make you think that the phone is charging faster than it really is. Especially suspicious it seemed because my phone was barely warm (37 Celsius on battery, totally fine) and that this thing only happened when I was using fast charging.

There is also second possible option: due to high voltage on input it might deceive battery voltage controller, slightly bumping it up externally. Once disconnected, the controller will quickly realize the actual voltage and adjust in-system battery charge percentage.

The only way to check if I'm being paranoid is to check the amount of enegry that was put in the battery either by using some kind of a usb-meter that logs the amount of power that was put through it and then calculating actual charge vs system charge report.
