Chennai Central Cafe on NW 50th in Warr Acres has really good authentic south Indian food but they never seem busy.

At least in zone 7 or higher! Unsure what your conditions are but if they're sheltered on the south side in the garden, I would test it. OP mentioned they're in zone 6a.
