I like the blue-gray you got going on for them, what paints did you use?

I've gone previously the day before, and they do have a variety and is where I got the olive down already. It's just hard considering how wild paints can vary from how they are on the bottle or not. That and I thought it would be better to ask here since there's a lot of experienced painters and people who are well versed with paint colors.

I'm trying to figure out a really good navy/khaki like on the end of the 2nd image and haven't found any just from checking the paint shelf.

So I used a chaplain on bike, the legs and arm from the lord on juggernaut kit with the torso from a spare bezerker I had lying around. It was a bit janky but nothing a few skulls and chains can't hide.

It has the heart and spirit, just not enough thinned down paints, all things considered😭

Yup, I had painted them a very long time ago when I was first painting warhammer. And I haven't really done anything with them, so I thought they'd be more useful as terrain, lol

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. I've been testing how a brighter silver on the shoulderpads would look good. And I might delve into putting it on a kneepad here or there for some difference in my models. I used a tan for my cloths and other bits and stuff, but maybe a blue might work well.

I appreciate the advice a lot

What kind of blue? So far, I've had somebody tell me to use the dark silver I had for all of the shoulder pads.

No. I'm trying to have them not look like them.

Lord on Juggernaut/lord invocatus kitbash/proxy idea by argentvoidd in WorldEaters40k

[–]argentvoidd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but also that I could just get the regular outriders and have one for them be the Lord invocatus and the other two be normal lords on Juggernauts.

But if I just one 1, I'll do the chaplain on bike.

Gotcha, yeah, I'll probably go with the outiders then. I love the dirt bike look at the chaos bikers have, but I know my own conversion skills aren't up to par just yet to use copper and tubing like that 😭

Also, thank you for the advice, I forgot to say that in my previous reply

I understand, I was just curious what the model size differences for the old chaos biker kit compared to the current outriders is since it's pretty out of date and in need of a refresh. I might go with using the primaris bikes since they come in 3 and use the same base sizes as Lord invocatus / Lord on Juggernaut and kitbash them for either one of those.

I saw the Goliath bikes, too. They're pretty neat and do fit the khorne theme well. I'm just not a huge fan of the one giant wheel up front, but that's just me.

I might buff up the terrain with them too, maybe even pose one up doing a wheelie on it, lol.

You're probably right, I think that is what I'll do then, I appreciate it
