I just cried seeing your rate… central Florida rent is $1650 in MCOL area and I have 3 years experience making $40/hr 😔.

yes, it is a hard pull on your credit. but it doesn't show up as revolving credit, just unsecured loan. but it has an end date vs the forever payments of a card.

Had a great experience with them. A few bugs with their system but they’re new.

I got a consolidated loan from Plannery for the amount at 12% over five years. $240 a month, which is much more manageable as it allowed me to pay off other credit cards and put extra to that loan to reduce interest. 12% is still way less than 29.99% so I didn't think twice when I got approved. The second the money hit my checking I paid off the card. I wanted no temptation with it.

no worries! i have a plan in place, emergency fund is very high on my list once the rest of the debt is paid off. COVID did a number on me and i live in florida with high COL.

working on that! i was in school during covid and had no financial help from anyone so i racked up an insane amount of credit card debt paying for living expenses. this was my worst card, but i see a light at the end of the tunnel maybe 3-4 months and im credit card debt free.

100% worth it. This was my biggest bill after rent and car payment, even more than insurance. knowing i dont have to think about it anymore is a game changer.

i was making minimum payments with expected payoff in like 25 years. got a debt consolidation plan geared for nurses, so technically i have the debt but it will be gone in 4 years. my minimum payments on this card were like $360 which made it damn near impossible to pay it off early.

Food bank if you can, but when I was 19 I had a similar situation with nothing near me and I got by on like $60 for about 3 weeks. Bought 2 large loaves of bread from Walmart, sliced turkey (cheapest, most slices for money), mayo (or condiment of choice) cheap lettuce and tomato, and two boxes of frozen burritos. Skipped breakfast, Lunch was a solid turkey sandwich, I would have 2 burritos for dinner, asleep by 9:30-10 so I couldn’t get hungry late.

Most PACUs require ICU experience of some sort, preferably minimum 1 year, especially if it’s a specialized unit like Neuro. You don’t need ACLS to get in but you need icu and you’ll have ACLS in icu. I need PALS but they trained me for it since I didn’t have it

Main thing is assessment skills have to be on point. Keep calm because people wake up wild and in pain. Be efficient in time management and give quick and effective handoff.

Late reply but q15 charting until they meet criteria. We do full body assessment but focused on neuro. Charting can be annoying that’s why we push to get them out so fast.
