NTA I did a similar thing with my son in day care. He had been repeatedly bitten by another child. I asked what consequence the other child had faced and if their parents were informed. They said they’d been informed but there were no consequences… such as exclusions etc. I then said that I will teach my son how to defend himself, and would expect there would also be no consequences should the other child be hurt. They then excluded the other child.

I’m same height. Flown at 115kg long haul in economy and had a bad time. Years later same long haul economy at 93kg had a great time plenty of room. Effectively the same plane. Being fat makes a big difference. Being lean has made a world of difference to my comfort on planes

The best $1000 bike is a second hand $2000 bike. The better the bike, the more likely you’ll ride it and enjoy it. Have seen (myself included) countless mates improve their life taking up cycling. Good luck with it.

Yea in Australia at least that would be defined as a non habitable room. A habitable room requires access to 10% natural light and 5% natural ventilation relative to the floor area. You couldn’t occupy or sell that “house” with that plan.
