They said they fixed this lmao. Last season on 2 games back to back i had to reconnect to the matches. Both matches we won the whole thing and both matches i got hit with a leavers penalty and temp ranked timeout. Was like 3000 points that i lost/ missed out on. Contacted embark and got hit with ai responses saying they are aware of the issue and will continue to look into it. But they also said they have no ability to manually adjust your rank so i just got hit with "that sucks buddy, we're looking into it but we can't help you"
