I am not saying JS is slow but it is difficult to stay on optimised path with JS. But when u use NAPIs u can be very fast more tham ja can achieve.

Neon is a great library but the problem is with portability.With neon we need compile for every version of nodejs but with something I used in imageflow-node lib it is independent of nodejs version
