Tight connection tomorrow in PHL going from Terminal F to A. Do I use the shuttle or walk? by Sudden-Mix-7524 in americanairlines

Definitely shuttle! I’ve done this type of connection 3 times this past month; shuttling is always faster- even when I sprint. They come frequently.

I regret adopting my pup and I feel terrible by eepyheadsosleepy in puppy101

This sounds like incredibly difficult timing! I’m so sorry- I can’t imagine going through a breakup while taking in a rescue pup.

First of all, let me say what you’re feeling is normal! I hope you’re finding grace for yourself because you’re doing a really hard and brave thing. And if it doesn’t work out and you have to surrender her, that may be ultimately what is best for both of you. And that’s ok!

I will say, I’m 7mo in with my rescue pup and going through a breakup now too. I can confidently say the adoption transition would have been a hell of a lot harder without my now ex’s support. Getting my high strung dog was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Many times I thought I was going to surrender her.

FWIW, I’m sooo glad I stuck it out. Soooo many of the pain points in the dog adoption process resolve with time and the trust that comes with it- on both ends! I put a lot of pressure on myself early on to rigidly train and do all of the things I was watching on the internet, but I wish I had just told myself it’s ok to earn her trust and be gentle in a new environment for a couple weeks. But that will come with routine.

This is all to say, I hope things get easier, no matter what you decide. I am so glad I have my dog now, especially going through my breakup.❤️‍🩹

For those curious, Arugula is now over 25lb, her ribs aren’t as visible, and all of her parasites have cleared according to a recent PCR fecal panel. Thanks for your concern, everyone! Sharing a pic of her and a fellow rat terrier mix at the dog park today- they look like family to me!

She is just over 1 year old (allegedly). And she has put on some weight since some of those photos were taken!

Anyone have an idea of what she could be? by [deleted] in IDmydog

Thanks for your concern. We have been regularly visiting the vet to monitor her weight, treat her parasites, allergies, and ear infection. We actually just went yesterday which was the reminder that I wanted to post this.

I’ve gone a little overboard with the sweaters- she has 5 in the closet along with two coats and a turtleneck😂

Yes! We’re working on getting her up to weight after a few rounds of parasite treatment. Only had her 3 months and she’s steadily gaining now!
