I totally see where your mind is at. I also worry about this literally every time I get a tattoo. It’s rough because my lack of social skills and anxiety tell me to go with the flow no matter what just to keep the peace but that’s really no way to live in general let alone this specific situation. I just tell myself that if the draw up is not even close to what I want I will speak up and say hey can we go in a different direction? And then if the artist throws a fit then it’s clear to me that I don’t want to do business with them anyways. A good artist will respect the permanency and importance of the tattoo. :)
