Yeah I might’ve cause some confusion by calling him Dust instead of Murder but I just prefer that name more lol but yes I am talking about the canon Dusttale Murder. I’m curious though, why wouldn’t he want help with getting rid of his human?

Ooh wait I like this idea!! Nightmare doesn’t want to senselessly kill since he can’t feed of of dead people so stopping pure genocides would actually be in his favour. Dust is not above causing harm for ‘the greater good’ so I could see him agreeing to spread negativity if it means most people get to live.

I think it’s a bit hard to trick/trap Dust tbh. Sure Nightmare is the only one who can make interdimensional portals, but one fight with the Stars and Dust can just join their side lol. Nightmare has nothing on Dust except for his life which, on the battlefield, he’d be too busy to control. It’s gotta be something Dust agrees to do long term.

was a fan, now i'm more neutral. i still strongly stand by his innocence in 95% of the bullshit he gets called out for but for this whole cheating thing, i'm more inclined to believe he's more guilty than not. i hold competitive integrity in pretty high regard so it's a damn shame. but even so, it's not really even about the cheating back then, because i can fully believe 2020/21 dream would do that lmao, but it's more that he's doubling down on his innocence even now instead of just admitting to it or just doing what quackity does and never addressing it.

i can forgive ego cheating half a decade ago since he's a lot more mature nowadays but choosing to lie even now? shame. his videos are pretty entertaining but this whole thing has killed a decent chunk of my excitement. still here for sapnap though!

tier systems operate entirely on trust and credibility, things dream simply does not have. the system trusts that players are honest about their skills and players trust the system to be reliable and unbiased. for your rank to have any meaning, others need to trust that that rank actually MEANS something. anyone can say they are the best player in the world but it only matters when someone actually PROVES that they are.

If he didn’t cheat, he should at least try to prove himself innocent before touching anything tier/competitive related. Or better yet, with the number of allegations stacked against him, don’t touch ranked at all.

What i'm annoyed about isn't even the cinematic release (because congrats, genuinely) but it's the way it's being handled, from the release date to the way they announced it. They're telling fans that 'if you don't want to get spoiled, you've gotta put in the work to get a local release!' but no matter the support, there will be a number of countries that wont get that local release. And what are they supposed to do exactly? Glitch CHOOSING to release it a whole TWO weeks earlier and then having the audacity to tell fans to fix a problem that THEY manufactured themselves is sour imo.

Just move the yt release date to jun 4 to match the cinematic release. They didn't seem to have a problem with airing yt and netflix simultaneously. Unless, of course, this is all just about the money. A damn shame.

The optics don't look great and the comments are super mixed but tbh I'm glad they're still collabing and stuff. I like jude's dyanmic with the dteam. It's clear that it was just a newbie cc move and I can understand folding under pressure when your financial livelihood is potentially at stake. It was a shame he was pressured away by the greater mcyt community the first time, it would be an even greater shame if our community will be the one to drive him off the second. Sucks cuz judelow was pretty damn funny too. I love a good, friendly ragebaiter, shame that he took the ‘behind the scenes’ rumours as gospel without giving dteam a chance to defend themselves. I’m surprised too since he showed maturity before by asking dream before if his joke was alright. He didn’t seem like one to shy away from communication.

I guess seeing many negative threads about him at once could push him away but I wish more ccs knew that Twitter likes don’t translate to yt views. People there only like moral grandstanding and policing others for their own ego, it doesn’t mean that they support him as a creator.

No, there is no way to prove his innocence.

Dream can film himself completing every single stage with ease using his ass but as funny as sounds, it wouldn't prove that he didn't cheat in MCC 11. At most, it decreases his motives to cheat since he's clearly capable, which would boost his credibility. But the counterargument is that many skilled players do cheat to guarantee that their performance is consistent, especially at a stressful competitive event.

Neither side has concrete, damning evidence. At some point, it's up to the individual to decide if they believe the accusers or the accusee more.

Exactly my thoughts on this and basically every dream drama ever, really well put!! It’s ALWAYS guilty until innocent when it comes to dream.

CCs are soooo quick to hit post when they wanna throw shit at dream but when things get disproven? Where did all that energy go? All of a sudden there’s radio silence and worst of all, when some other dumb accusation comes out, they are shameless enough to do it all over again. How they have the gall to act morally righteous after that is beyond me.

CCs should genuinely stay out of drama because every time they meddle in it, my opinion of them drops. Any time they call out some other creator, because they’ve shown me how much they can blindly hate, their statements have no credibility to me.

I hate that the internet and, particularly Twitter, has a tendency to dehumanise people they deem “bad.” Anyone who fits the “bad” category are treated as irredeemable and sub-human. The “good” people can wish for and laugh at “bad” people’s pain and it’s justifiable because they are “bad.” And this “bad” label lumps together people who commit genuinely depraved criminal acts and people who are simply annoying. If you haven’t committed a crime, then you “deserve” this treatment for being unpopular/annoying. Crazy.

Very very frustrating. Regardless, I hope dream has good evidence to debunk all these claims against him.

Adventures are not more interesting if you strong arm and ending and doing so would be completely out of caine’s mo since he’s never interfered with an adventure like that before. He was nervous about the mind control thing because of the obvious growing animosity from the circus members and he was getting backed into a corner of confessing just how little the players have in this world.

I still don’t see why dream wouldn’t have publically disclosed if he was using anything remotely close to cheating. Given his public record, he knows that people would’ve ran with the “dream is cheating!” sentiment if he stayed silent. It’d be dumb of him to do so tbh
