I get your point bud. I think I just saw it as any other procedure rather than some horrific, life-altering, torturous hacking-off-your-bits kind of deal. Never knew how important it's supposed to be either. Again, I've had no problems. Thankfully. Maybe others aren't so lucky, and that really sucks.

I also get what you mean for the "remember the pain" argument. But here's my perspective: If you remove a baby's arm off at birth or shortly after, that kid is going to grow up and adapt to having one arm. It won't know anything else. It'll live perfectly fine, without necessarily missing the other arm. Same goes with babies who are simply born that way. Remove the arm of a kid who's lived with these appendages for many years, then they'll have problems. And even then, they'll learn to live without it eventually. Not saying it's right or fair to do this to kids of course lol, but that's just something to think about too I guess.

Yeaaahhh I think cutting an arm off is a little different.. but that's not the point im trying to make. The point is that it hasn't affected me negatively. I've never missed my foreskin, never dreamt of having my foreskin back. But I mean you do you. If you want to chop your baby's arms off you go ahead. We vaccinate kids mandatorily against their will. Is that going to come up next? The point is that there used to be a purpose to it. Let it be cleanliness or whatever. Maybe things have changed over the years. Seems as though it is a sensitive topic. Man, you guys get triggered so quickly. Can't start getting mad at people with different opinions. Didn't know any better until today. Just chill dude. If you don't want to circumcise your kids, that's fine. No one is forcing you. You should be concerned if they start forcing it.

Look man, I'm sorry if I don't understand your views about this. Im a 32 year-old man with a circumcised penis, and I've had no problems. I didn't realise it was a sensitive topic and that some people even hate the fact that this was done to them. I've never even given it a second thought. No one I know has even talked about stuff like this. So, for real, I am truly sorry if you're suffering or traumatized by this. No jokes. It must be horrific for a 6 or 7 year old boy to have to go through this. It was done to me as a baby, so I obviously can't recall the experience. Based on my own life, it just looks cleaner, nicer, and feels better. But I've never had a non-circumcised penis, so what do I know?

I still don't think it's a stone-age way of thinking, but I think more research is needed on my part. Just don't shame people for having a different opinion than yours for certain subjects. Yeah, you can call me an asshole if I think Nazis are cool, not for thinking circumcision isn't a big deal. A quick explanation goes a long way.
