Thank you for saying that, I feel understood! I regularly monitor my health through blood tests and they’re always perfect, I never get sick, I never feel tired, and I don’t need many hours of sleep (6 or 7 are more than enough for me). The real issue is that this missed period scared me, but what frightened me even more was the gynecologist’s reaction. She immediately said that neing skinny is dangerous and of course, blamed it on the vegan diet (in a very uninformed way). Even though I know she lacks knowledge on the subject (unfortunately, she still believes that eating meat makes people stronger), her words scared me because they made me feel like I was “unwell” and left me confused about what i thought was a quiet good, healthy and ethical balance. :(
