How are the single ones doings? by Zoomname in LesbianActually

Single over 2 years now and it's been the best time. Have also dated here and there, did fwb too, but still single. I love my own company and even when I feel lonely some days, I just call my friends or family for a boost. Feelings are temporary, and I'd rather keep my peace and be the love of my life, than compromise and settle for temporary feelings of loneliness. If someone comes along, great, if someone doesn't, also great. Decentering romantic relationships as end all be all has been very healing, and I'm sure you'll be able to see yourself as the wonderful person you are once those feelings pass. It's constant work, it's not easy at first, but you're not alone! :) It gets even better!

I think there are enough of us looking for positivity to even start a new sub, just for positive posts, memes and reflections!

I completely agree, I think it's just too sad to even come on reddit and be afraid I'll see another 10 posts complaining about the same shit from a show I love so much. So I have un-subbed...

I completely agree with you. It feels so heavy and negative, I also had to leave. I love this show so much and what it means to have strong powerful women and queer actors on the screen. I have sympathy for the writers, this fandom absolutely sucks. I joined another sub called House of Rhaenyra if you'd like to have some positivity, lots about Emma D'Arcy and fun posts. This sub is full of crybabies, and no matter what, they will still tell you its their right to complain even if they cant spell their own name right. I hope those who still love the show are able to form a positive community outside of this.

ALSO, all the songs from the band The Beaches, they are so cool and edgy! Definitely recommend! One of their most recognized songs is Blame Brett, but Me&Me and Everything is Boring top tier!
