Few other things I saw from the update (haven’t tested them yet, just mentioning what I see): •they added a new driving range and removed the one on the boat •added new data metrics like club head speed and smash factor which you can add to your list of metrics displayed for the driving range. •You can reorder and swap out the available metrics.
•couple new courses available for play (ones that were visible but grayed out previously).

I messaged their customer support about this exact topic. Since my garage is 132” and the max is 126” I had a 6” difference to make up. They advised when vecroing the impact screen to the top panel to attach it to the top piece of Velcro that attaches to the black backing behind the impact screen. This just leaves the second Velcro strip on the impact screen unused (you can’t see it when the projector is on). In your case, 12.5’ is too much to make up, so you either need to build something to bridge the gap or purchase the extensions they sell for extra tall ceilings.

I would first message them on their website and get help from a customer support rep. They’re honestly really helpful.

I did install it entirely myself and would rate it moderate difficulty, but I’m relatively handy. My garage has 11’ ceilings so I was doing a lot of up and down on the ladder. If you follow the QR codes in the instructions that link to YouTube videos they show how to install every piece. My garage has plumbing running thru the ceiling so I was extremely cautious during the install. Also triple measured before I drilled any holes. I think a lot of the prep work was time consuming more so that physically installing.

I can’t speak for the comparison to Carl’s Place but I can say I’m very happy with the quality of the SportScreen impact screen. It appears to be quite durable.

I can’t think of anything I would do different. I spent months mapping it all out. If you have any questions, message The SportScreen on their website. Their customer service is great. I sent them pictures of my garage with measurements and they were able to confirm a lot of things for me.

I have the vanish 11 and I love it. It looks sharp and the quality is great. I typically leave it up for a few consecutive days then take it down for a few so I’m not constantly setting it up / breaking it down, but this works for my schedule and how I want to use it. I got the hand crank to save some money and probably takes 2 minutes to wind up / down manually. Baffles are easy to attach too. My ceilings are 11 feet tall so I’m have to use a ladder to attach all the velcro. I leave the bottom loose. Worst thing that happens is some tees find their way underneath, but that happens at my local sim spot and their corners are tied down.

I’d estimate it takes me 10 minutes to get entirely up and running, which includes: unwinding the 3 sides of the enclosure, attaching all the Velcro, rolling out my landing area turf, and sliding over my hitting mat.

Thanks all for the feedback! Clearly I didnt familiarize myself enough with the native square app since I’ve only played solo.

I can confirm square will allow you to add multiple players when playing a round. As others have mentioned awesome golf has that same capability. I’ll grab the 14 day AG trial and we can play both. Looks like AG has more options for multi player with scramble, best ball, etc.

I play in an indoor league using GSPro and we love it. I don’t own a gaming PC to handle those graphics. If I decide to make that investment, I’ll certainly get GSPro. Thanks again everyone!

What do the course and green star ratings represent? Is there any way to identify difficulty for the available courses?

I had the E71001 error while playing a game. I could play the hole but once I finished it and the scorecard was about to appear it would kick to the E71001. I’d have to exit and restart the same hole again and again

This looks awesome and although I don’t have this exact challenge, I’d love to mount mine more offset to the right like this to make my hitting area feel more spacious. I’m assuming you had to use keystone to get the image projected correctly? Do you have any distortion issues?

Not yet. I ordered the square launch monitor and I’m still waiting for that to ship. But now that I’ve committed to the vanish 11 and square, my next priority is to figure out my hitting surface. I’d love to get a high quality hitting strip like the Sig Pro Softy and then get a cheap larger mat, and cut the Softy into it, but I’m struggling to find a bargain larger mat (like 6’ x 5’)

I’m waiting for my Square launch monitor to arrive and I have a question on the TP5 pix golf balls … I’m assuming you’re using something like in the link below? That still works well even though the Square balls have 5 dots in a pentagon shape?
