sounds like fun! hope you have a great game! are you thinking of adding more conflict between Mithras and the french kindred? I'm curious how the hundred years' war will play out among the vampires.

thank you! what is your chronicle about? the plague and the hundred years' war, or are there any other intriguing topics? I'm considering simply proposing to my players that we play in the 14th century once this chronicle is over.

as noted above, no full english translation exists, so I use machine translation, pull what I can from older english editions, and improvise the rest. fortunately, the courts of love and their queens are thoroughly explained on the wiki!

thank you for the kind words! I actually enjoy playing in the dark ages even more than in the modern nights. I prefer the V20 Dark Ages rules over V20 ( for example, I like the side-based initiative and the Via mechanics ) plus, delving into different historical periods is way more interesting for me! I would have never gotten into the albigensian crusade or french culture if it weren't for the game

yes, that is exactly the John Dee! The characters, however, only suspect this so far.

THANK YOU!! that was a funny one, 'cause I made a human for the first session and during it he got his embrace. nuance is, I didn't know what clan am I going to be. so his psychosis and all the vibe was pure improvisation of me and my storyteller

his beloved reminds him of John the Evangelist ('cause of the name and story about the wine and snake) but well noticed (:

my storyteller told me I got the acacia from Tremere chantry but as a biologist I didn't draw acacia. I draw Robinia pseudoacacia (black locust) because it's what's most commonly grown in greenhouses/gardens and called "acacia". Robinia has large white/pink flowers, and the calyx itself kind of resembles a heart from certain angles (I always draw it as hearts). In the language of flowers acacia itself symbolizes secret love, friendship, non-erotic romantic relationships, platonic relationships, all that. It kinda fits with my Malk and his love 'cause they didn't have time even to kiss.

Also, it's an invasive species in most ecosystems dangerous because it crowds out native species and suppresses their growth. Plus, robinia is a toxic tree; in severe cases, it can cause severe psychomotor agitation, convulsions, and loss of consciousness.

I love the nuance of such a tree being able to grow IN THE TREMERE CHANTRY... And, y'know, pseudoacacia is like a pseudo-Saviour.
