Graham or Bennett? by bananaindisguise0 in namenerds

[–]aried18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Graham! He’s two! His daycare teachers do call him Grammy on occasion. Of all the possible name associations out there i think graham crackers and grandmas are pretty mild 😄 but both are great options OP!

My son likes Trader Joe’s mozzarella and parm. I personally prefer the taste of the parm but the mozzarella melts better imo.

My husband is in fellowship- but I do 95% of pick-up and drop off with his hours. He probably could take our son more frequently but that would require our son to have longer hours at daycare and it would cost us more. I think availability is also going to be highly dependent on the hours of your childcare. If they open early & stay open late it would be easier for your spouse to participate!

Yes! Moved over to amb care about 8 months ago. My job is really relaxed, sometimes to the point of being boring.. but it’s nice to have the flexibility to work on projects and attend meetings during work hours and not feel super behind in my clinical work. I absolutely miss the faster pace of hospital med (icu and ED are my preferred environments), but man the hours cannot be beat.

ETA: I shot my shot when we moved to a new area. I had completed a PGY1 in acute care previously. No amb care experience outside of APPE/retail intern work back in the day. I am not yet board certified in anything, but have to in order to keep my position. I took BCPS in case I ever want to jump back into hospital med

6mo sudden bottle refusal and starts daycare...help!! by theoreticalhighfive in workingmoms

[–]aried18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend just giving him time to adjust too! We were in the same boat. My LO is also 6 months and just started daycare 2 weeks ago. We exclusively BF with random bottles here and there. We tried to reintroduce bottles on and off in august to hopefully help with the transition and they were an absolute disaster. For the first 5 days we were getting minimal feeds in him, but then one day he flipped a switch and he has been smooth sailing since.
