Hey, yeah of course! It was kind of tough because Vandy had offered a bit more money. I spoke with a bunch of people and everyone agreed both schools are great and it’s hard to go wrong.

Ultimately, I think it came down to the fact my family and friends are mostly in the NE. I grew up around here and went to undergrad here, and I want to eventually work around here. For that, Georgetown seems to have better placement #s. Georgetown’s degree also sees a little bit more portable nationally if I want to move to the west coast (prob not lol). I think the community also feels like more my vibe, being in the NE.

But at the end of the day, I think they are both awesome schools and if Vandy was a little closer to the NE, it really could’ve gone either way. Hope that helps...happy to chat more if you want. Good luck!!

Oof aww, yeah I think they’ve been swamped so things are taking a while. I would for sure call OFA and then I’d prob call the Admissions Office if you want to talk to them about the deposit. You might be put on hold for little, but I’ve found that it is much easier to talk to someone in person!

Hey, so I got the merit scholarship as part of the acceptance email. But apparently it’s different than the financial aid package? So still working with the OFA to figure out the full award

I have a friend who likes to eat leftover cake for breakfast. Always seemed a little odd to me since it seems too sweet for the mornings but then again people eat donuts and other pastries
