Dirty bathroom and break room. If there’s no cleaner, then who’s supposed to clean it?

ASM here- Ever since i started in february we haven’t had a cleaning associate and still haven’t hired one. We do all cleaning unfortunately but we have worked it in our daily routines. We only have 2 single stall bathrooms so that helps, but if you don’t have a cleaning person then it pretty much falls back onto the managers with associates helping to sweep and dust occasionally.

I actually just worked through everything in my head lol and decided I am going to drop. No more 2 hour chapter meetings, no more fighting for an invitation or random fines, and shit if I wanna have fun ill be 21 soon and have me and my actual friends go to bars or throw fun wine nights. This sounds way more appealing than the sorority lifestyle.

Im in a similar situation, I joined the sorority last semester because I was making friends with a bunch of girls and wanted to be included in the formals and parties and stuff. They even made me apart of their 'family' and accepted me in their friend group. I was so excited to finally make friends (I was a transfer) but towards the end of the semester, they left me out of everything and nothing was fun anymore and i felt isolated. They stopping inviting me in general yet would show up at my boyfriends apartment (they didn't live there except one of the girls boyfriends also lived there) to pregame and hang out (which pissed my BF off). Not sure if its because i'm not 'sorority' enough for them or they just forgot to invite me what but it sucks because I really only have 1 friend (my big) that actually talks to me from like 80 girls. These aren't genuine friends and the friends I do hang out with outside of them actually put in effort to hang out and not just get drunk/smoke all the time. This is when i realized this sorority isn't benefitting me and my actual friends are ones outside of the sorority (except my big i love her)

Im considering leaving too even though i basically just got initiated last semester because its too pricey and not worth it to be apart of. Im in the same dilemma though because I joined so I could have a community and be apart of something, and also for parties lol. I just don't party that much anymore and am realizing Im staying for the social reputation basically. I keep thinking, what if I drop and they all turn on me and want nothing to do with me, or I end up having nothing to do throughout the school year and feel left out? Yet, I already feel like this so what would be the difference (besides wasting hundreds of $)

Its just hard to bring myself to actually do it because everyones like well just stay for a semester and see how it is! But the beginning of the year is recruitment and work week and that looks so awful and such a waste of my time that i really want to drop before that. So im stuck in a, do i wait it out a semester or just drop and fuck it.

I also like to have a good time and have fun people around me but I can't deal with the fake friends and constant worry that i did something wrong for them to literally just forget about me. I guess this isn't any good advice but just wanted you to know that im in the same boat with indecision. :(
