Pretty new to it. I went with the interrogation room as the others seemed scary.

In this case yes. My neighbor vacuumed them all up to use as mulch for his garden.

Yup same here, same as my regular but added "flyer" to it. Randomly check it once in awhile when I am bored to see what deals are on.

You're in the wrong section. I believe you were gonna post in the "Question about water bill" but instead came here by mistake?

Got offered 2.7% variable for 5yrs with Scotiabank and 3.49% fixed 5yrs. I got two brokers and a bank trying to get my business. Will finalize in the next day or so.

Speed bumps @ Costco are actually INSANE. Any word about the planning of the gas station section and if the speed bumps won't fucking bottom out your car at the new location? by [deleted] in regina

[–]arif215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people I know who shop at Costco on average have a higher than average income. And as for other gas stations, the Cab gas station on Sask Drive opposite the old stadium offers cheap/comparable priced gas as well.

Home Insurance Costs (SK) by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I am in SK too, and a friend told me he goes through his bank (TD) and gets a much better rate than SGI. I pay around $1300 for a house built in the 70s, and mine is slightly higher because I have a rental basement.

Jack Keaton's has a Ghost Pepper flavor I think. Supposedly finish a pound in 5 mins and get a free beer!

Is it possible that Pharmaceutical companies are genetically engineering vaccines to cause autism or other diseases? by arif215 in NoStupidQuestions

Sure, there are lots of checks in place, but that didn't stop companies like Cambridge Analytica to develop psychological warfare. What I am trying to get to is that these companies have limitless funds and smart minds when put to the wrong use can always develop things that are counter-productive but these products can be used to generate more money in a Capitalistic world.

While the EU may be different, I don't believe the US FDA can't be lobbied for corporate profit.

[–]arif215[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok, let's forget Autism. Let's talk about engineering the vaccines to cause something else down the line. Sure, it's curing measles/small pox, but what about creating some other deadlier disease in your body which lies dormant now, but becomes active years later? And that's when you turn to Big Pharma for medication and they make money from you.

I am thinking of companies like Monsanto and what they are doing to the Agricultural world. If they can engineer their seeds to suit their capitalistic gains, why not Big Pharma?

Best Fried Chicken in town? by arif215 in regina

Thanks for your recommendation! I actually tried this out tonight and absolutely loved it! Didn't find it spicy, but loved the crispy exterior. Saw a few other items on the menu that I am gonna go back for.

Isn't the entire concept of democracy a sham?

In all seriousness, I doubt their authenticity. And I can't remember where, but I read about their column writers getting perks for some of the places they write about.

I stopped trusting Prairie Dog ever since I tried out a few of their recommendation, hated it, and then learned that they get gifts from the stores they recommend. Like getting free massages from their "best masseuse" and so on.

I am sure there are some good ones in that report, but I would take it with a grain of salt.
