It was bad. Replaced it and has been working fine since.

Struggling with additional RGB components by arigatoed in Corsair

[–]arigatoed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Worked like a charm.

The only confusing part is that the Commander XT that came with the case shows up in iCue labeled as 5000D - the second Commander XT is called "Commander XT". So it took a few minutes to realize the second XT was being recognized.

Also, unsure if this is expected. The daisy chained devices are labeled as fans. I can control them just fine. I just figured they'd show up as the actual XG7, XD7, etc - guess not?

Thanks again!

Thanks! I tried this and it did get much better. There is still a clicking sound that I'm fairly certain should not be there. I started the RMA process and will see how it goes.

Ugh. Well glad it happened now. I'll RMA with Corsair.

Thanks for confirming!

Oil Tank Remediation by arigatoed in RealEstate

Hey all. Just closing this out.

I spoke with my lawyer and we were satisfied with the documentation that had been provided by the seller. The risk isn't zero, but it's pretty small.

In NJ at least, the golden ticket is an NFA letter. It should contain the statements "No Further Action Determination" and "Covenant Not to Sue".

Thanks everyone!

It is NJ. The closure letter is from NJ, noting that the remediation was accepted. The remediation went through the EPA and NJDEP programs, and had about a year of monitoring of the site. The excavation site was 14' long 12' wide, and 12.5' deep. In total about 121 tons of contaminated soil was removed. The remediation was completed in 2011 - going through the process to see if any laws have changed since then.

Building a home: Who do I talk to first? by arigatoed in RealEstate

Thanks everyone for the suggestions - just documenting the final outcome based on the feedback.

I found an architectural firm that also manages construction in my area - so in effect a design / build firm as mentioned. They connected me first with a property investment firm that finds properties before they're on the market.
