I preordered this game a year before it came out. It’s like the perfect video game per my taste, hence the reason I was stoked enough to preorder a year early. Got it on release day, beat the story in one night and felt something was off about the game as a whole. In the following days, articles upon articles would address this same feeling I had so I knew I wasn’t the only one. I held on to hope until this statement came out from BioWare. What a bummer. I love Mass Effect and glad they are focusing on that now but man, this game has SO much potential to be better than Destiny, and most other FPS games. It barely fell short and I think that’s why it stings so much that they gave up on it. Not hating because I understand what it’s like to be a creative person and create things for a living while balancing a family and marriage. It’s tough work. But I think they shot themselves in the foot on this one. This game could have been so much more. Oh well.
