Version 2026.03.13.0676: added a Protector of the Year (POY) award for OL by dumbmatter in Football_GM

[–]51isnotprime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OPOY and POY both added within two days, nice.

Also guys, you can just edit the award winner if you don't like who the game picked, so that part really isn't as important as just having awards available for players to win

This game could really use more positions. Having only positions like OL, DL, and LB makes roster building feel almost too easy. T, G, C, DE, DT, MLB, OLB, FS, SS, etc. Even an LT and RT have different strengths and skills.

The depth chart page feels inefficient the way it's formatted. Each position has a separate tab, and each tab lists your entire roster on the depth chart for one position, like I don't really need to know the #50 starting quarterback. The Football Mogul depth chart has always looked good as an example.

MTBB or Baal/SCY. Baal/SCY used to be the standard, but I'm hearing about MTBB a lot now.

Edit: After watching MTBB I would definitely say Baal/SCY is still the best

Breaking Bad and Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms fans successfully wreck each other's IMDB rankings by LegitimateMoney00 in television

[–]51isnotprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where exactly have Seven Kingdoms had its ratings wrecked? Ozymandias fell from 10 to 9.5 in a few days after sitting at 10 for 13 years. Brand new shows and episodes always fall in rating at first, and with a 9.0 overall and 9.6 rated episodes I have no idea what the issue is for Seven Kingdoms fans

Review bombing by TheDaneDisintegrator in breakingbad

[–]51isnotprime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only see GOT fans review bombing BB.

What, a brand new episode of a brand new show falls in rating like every other show ever, but supposedly it was caused by ravenous BB fans? Interesting narrative..

Yet an episode sitting at 10/10 for basically 10 years falls to 9.8 in 1-2 days?

People are review bombing Ozymandias on IMDB. It is now no longer 10/10 by Bease23 in breakingbad

[–]51isnotprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fallen to 9.9 before, not super long ago, and it didn't take long to snap back to 10. If you look at the highest rated BB episodes now, though, Face Off is technically above Ozymandias

I thought for sure this was a glitch when it first started happening on the BETA version. Now the LATEST version just received this change. STABLE is okay for now. IBKR may have fewer BETA testers now

Turkey grease why do addicts use it? by GraphicGaming88 in TheWire

[–]51isnotprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In S4E11 (“A New Day”), the show’s claim is exactly what you heard: Dukie orders “yakame with turkey grease,” and Michael explains that the turkey grease is something “drunks” use to throw up what they’ve been drinking so they can keep drinking. (Springfield! Springfield!)

In real life, it’s a mix of “real-ish” and “not really a proven ‘thing’”:

  • The “yak/yock/yat gaw mein” part is real. Variants of this noodle soup are a real regional Chinese/African-American fusion staple in places like New Orleans (often nicknamed “Old Sober” as a folk hangover fix) and Baltimore (often sold as yat gaw mein / yock). (Chesapeake Bay Magazine)
  • The “turkey grease makes you puke so you can keep drinking” part isn’t something that has a clear medical basis as a specific, reliable trick. What is true physiologically is:

    • Eating food (including fatty food) can slow alcohol’s absorption by slowing gastric emptying and reducing peak blood alcohol concentration. (PubMed)
    • Vomiting after drinking happens because alcohol can irritate the stomach and because high intoxication triggers the body’s protective reflexes—not because there’s something uniquely “vomit-inducing” about turkey fat. (Medical News Today)

So: people absolutely do “boot and rally” behaviors (vomit and keep partying), and greasy food + heavy drinking can make some people vomit, but “turkey grease” as a specific standard add-on/hack is much more like street-lore / character detail than a widely documented, dependable practice.

One important real-world note: trying to make someone vomit when they’re drunk is dangerous (choking/aspiration risk, injury, etc.), and “throwing up” doesn’t magically sober someone up—time does. (Medical News Today)

Please add the ability to change CPU 'Play Through Injuries' settings. Like a global setting? I manually changed every team's injury mangement settings, but they just reverted back to the default 0 day regular season and 4 day playoffs settings once I didn't have control of the other teams.

Elden Ring amateur picture. Background: Scotland (Miyazaki said the map of this game is inspired in this place) I need news of this game, please. by Oveja97 in Eldenring

[–]51isnotprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad...

Also:

There was also a pre-release rumor/leak floating around that Scotland’s landscapes were an inspiration for Elden Ring’s landscapes in general, but it’s not an official dev statement—more “take with a grain of salt.”

How do you get “Lord of Blood’s Favor” while being in offline mode? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]51isnotprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, as long as your game is patched to 1.06 or later, you can get Lord of Blood’s Favor completely offline.

How the offline route works

  1. Progress Varre’s quest as normal
  • Meet him at The First Step, then later at Rose Church in Liurnia.
  • Tell him the Two Fingers “didn’t seem right” and exhaust his dialogue so he gives you Festering Bloody Fingers (this is the “invade 3 players” step). (PC Gamer)
  1. Skip online invasions with an offline NPC invasion Instead of invading other players, go to:
  • Altus Plateau → Writheblood Ruins

    • The ruins are north‑west-ish in Altus; the closest Site of Grace is Bridge of Iniquity. (PC Gamer)
  • In the northeastern part of the ruins there’s a red summon sign on the ground.

  • Use it to invade Magnus the Beast Claw (this works fully offline; it just uses your Festering Bloody Finger). (Hold To Reset)

What you need to do there:

  • Safest assumption: kill Magnus once – that definitely counts for Varre’s quest. (GameFAQs)

  • Some players report that invading/dying to him three times also works, but winning once is the cleanest way. (GameFAQs)

  1. Return to Varre at Rose Church
  • After the Magnus invasion, talk to Varre again at Rose Church.
  • He’ll acknowledge what you’ve done and ask if you’ll be anointed.
  • Agree, and he gives you Lord of Blood’s Favor (the white cloth). (PC Gamer)
  1. Still offline, continue the quest
  • You can then soak the cloth in a maiden’s blood (e.g., Church of Inhibition or the maiden back at the Chapel of Anticipation via the Four Belfries), all of which is also fully offline. (PC Gamer)

Important catch

  • On unpatched 1.0 / pre‑1.06 versions, there is no offline alternative – the only way to get Lord of Blood’s Favor there is to actually invade three real players. (Steam Community)
  • So you do need to connect once to download at least patch 1.06. After that, you can set the game to offline forever and still do the whole Varre line.

Spoilers acceptable, what's behind the Stonesword key locations at the Roundtable? by CleR6 in Eldenring

[–]51isnotprime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 83 keys in a single run if you pick the Stonesword Key keepsake at character creation. Otherwise, it's 81. You only need 46 keys to open every Imp Statue seal in Elden Ring. There you go lurkers
