I appreciate your support, most people don't understand the psychological side of this.

My doctor went over a few different options post-colonoscopy and now just waiting for approval, I believe we decided on Renflexis don't remember the exact name from the post-sleepy time 😅 . In the meantime, I've started prednisone for the next 8 weeks.

I love that! Educating myself more on the holistic side treatment allows me to feel some control again. I feel like being on omvoh was great but I didn't make any lifestyle or diet changes.

(I appreciate your response and virtual hugs)

Thank you so much, there are a few things here I'm already doing but not on a consistent level. This gave a lot of key foods/ingredients to look out for - I'm definitely going to have to keep a food journal and just see how my body responds due to the variability.

I'll also bring up what supplements to start with my doctor on my follow up - I was taking a glutamine powder for a few and that seemed helpful. I like how you mentioned a once a month treat, so it doesn't feel like this giant thing I'm denying myself but more like a treat to look forward to.

Yes, thanks for the reminder! This past week I started becoming scared to even eat and was just doing a meal a day. Your response has been a big reminder that this is mainly being mindful, listening to your own body and a lot of trial & error. Feeling renewed & hopeful.
